Hi, my name is Mattia. I’m a software engineer based near St. Gallen, Switzerland. My passion is technology — especially coding and constantly learning new things about it. In my spare time, I work on several projects, some of which are open source and available on my GitHub. You can also check out my website for more information about me.
On this site, I collect my knowledge and notes about almost everything I’m interested in and have explored. Most Tech-related and general content is written in English, but some sections, such as school-related pages, are in German. The reason is simple — Swiss German is my mother tongue, and some of the content was written for school or shared with friends who prefer German.
I’ve been a huge Notion fan for a long time — and I still am — but Notion works best when friends, colleagues, or teammates use it as well. Sometimes it’s hard to convince others to join, and it can also be a bit too flexible, which makes it easy to lose time customizing things. What I really like about this new setup, though, is that my knowledge base is fully versioned with Git — giving me a clear history of my notes and changes over time.
